I have just upgraded to Civil 3D 2018 and am now having an issue I can not figure out.
I have a plan sheet in Paper space. Everything looks great but when I plot or preview the plot it is changing my lintypes of the surface contours to solid lines.
If i look at it in model space and paper space the lines are dashed.
This only happens when I go to plot the layout.
I have attached an image of the paper space view and a pdf showing the plot output.

AutoCAD Civil 3D has blurred the lines between who is a draftsperson and who is an engineer. AutoCAD tips and techniques can often be very helpful when working in Civil 3D, but many engineers may have missed out on these little drafting gems.
An example is the Fillet command. To work out the intersection point of a Kerb Return profile made by the Intersection wizard, you can draw two little lines or polylines and snap them to the ends of the road profiles you want to work out the intersection point of to reproduce the grades and elevations.
Then start the Fillet command, and on the command line select the Radius option and set the radius to 0. Selecting the ends of the short line segments produces the intersection point and this can be used to create the Vertical Point of Intersection of the profile and an appropriate curve can be added.
